Vanilla is known to contain antibacterial compounds that may reduce the occurrence of breakouts, can cleanse the skin and soothe inflammation.
Vanilla also contains natural emollients which help hydrate and moisturise the skin.
The addition of frankincense increases this tallows overall anti-inflammatory properties and can encourage skin cell regeneration. Frankincense’s antioxidants assist in protecting the skin from oxidative stress and UV damage plus increasing procollagen production therefore improving skin elasticity and softening fine lines.
